Head over to the and join Living Historians as they camp out at the preserved site of the Confederate Gun Battery during the Blockade of the Potomac, Freestone Point. Learn about the story of the Battery, watch an artillery demonstration, check out camp life, and talk to the historians and listen to their discussions about the soldiers and the women and children that were left behind.
A bus shuttle will be provided to go between Leesylvania State Park, Weens Botts Museum, and Williams Ordinary.
So be sure to head out and learn all about the Potomac Blockade, witness some demonstrations and drills, and meet the Living Historians.
