Fiddler on the Roof

Castaways Repertory Theatre presents Fiddler on the Roof, with music by Jerry Bock, lyrics by Sheldon Harnick, book by Joseph Stein, and directed by Zina Bleck, May 3-19, at the Dr. A. J. Ferlazzo Building, 15941 Donald Curtis Drive, Woodbridge, Virginia.   Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. (no performance May 5), with one matinee on Sunday, May 13 at 1 p.m.  Set in Tsarist Russia in 1905, it is based on tales by Sholem Aleichem.  The story centers on Tevye, the father of five daughters, and his attempts to maintain his family and traditions while outside influence impact their lives.  Suitable for all family members.  General admission $14.  Seniors, students, children (12 and under), military, and PWC employees $11.  Groups of 10 and matinee: $10.
