This class, provided by the American Heart Association at the , teaches the participants how to manage illnesses and injuries in a child in the first few minutes before professional help has arrived. It is ideal for those involved in child care such as child care workers, teachers, foster care workers, camp counselors, and coaches of children's sports organizations. Upon the successful completion of this class, which includes a skills demonstration, a 2-year care will be issued to participants.
Please not that this is only a First Aid class and it does not include CPR training.
