We are pleased to invite you to our first Trunk Show, this coming Saturday, July 28th - from 2 pm - till 8 pm. Our special guest, Meena Tharmaratnam is the founder of Ibhana Creations, the culmination of three loves…design, textiles and people. Meena retails a collection of women’s apparel and accessories for women offering outfits, dresses and separates for everyday, resort and evening wear featuring international and American designers and Accessories including Cashmere and silk shawls from India, Hats for summer travel, derby events, fascinators for dinner parties and Sunday bonnets, from Russia, Germany and the US, and Jewelry (metal, mesh, semi-precious stones from India, Amsterdam and the U.S.). We will be presenting "The Ribkoff" hot summer pieces...and the many new styles for this 2012 fall. Meena also designs and produces scarves for organizations to support their branding/fund-raising. Signature scarves for some prestigious organizations include Washington Performing Arts 40th anniversary scarf Visitation School’s 400th anniversary scarf Sovereign Order of Malta American Association of University Women American Lung Association American Heart Association DC Design House Swedish Women’s Educational Association, and several more. We will also be celebrating our first OPEN HOUSE with light refreshments, appertizers and drinks.
