Family Attractions, Food Trucks ​at PRTC Anniversary Gala Oct. 8 in Woodbridge

Founded 30 years ago, Potomac Rappahannock Transportation Commission has more than 160 buses with an average daily ridership of 11,200.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — A festival to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Potomac Rappahannock Transportation Commission is set for Oct. 8 from 11:30 a.m.-4 p.m. at the PRTC Transit Center, 14700 Potomac Mills Road.

Among the attractions, according to a release, will be jugglers, face painting, balloon artistry, a hands-on insect exhibit, a youth talent showcase, a Virginia State Police K-9 demonstration, a petting zoo and facility tours.

Food trucks will be on hand, as well.

Parking for the event will be at the agency's commuter lot at Potomac Mills Road and Telegraph Road. Free overflow parking and shuttle service will be in the commuter parking area at Potomac Mills Mall, near Pier 1 and McDonald's.
