Fatal Crash Reported In Woodbridge On Saturday Morning: Police

A man from Dumfries died on Saturday after a crash on Potomac Center Boulevard in Woodbridge, according to the police department.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — A man died on Saturday after a single-vehicle crash in Woodbridge, according to the Prince William County Police Department.

Authorities identified the man as Garrett Ross Clark, a 32-year-old from Dumfries. No other vehicles were involved. In a report, the police department said speed and drugs may have been factors in the crash.

Investigators arrived at the scene of the crash near River Rock Way and Potomac Center Boulevard around 11:30 a.m. on Saturday morning. They noted that Clark was driving a 2021 Volkswagen Jetta northbound on Potomac Center Boulevard before the crash.

Authorities said Clark drove onto the grass median, entered the River Rock Way intersection, left the roadway, and hit a retaining wall.

First responders took Clark to a nearby hospital, where he died of his injuries. The police department said Clark was not wearing a seat belt when the car crashed.
