Father-Son Symposium Sept. 17 in Woodbridge
The free event is aimed at fathers who've been separated from their sons through divorce, military deployment or incarceration.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — The Prince William Fatherhood Initiative will hold its first father-son symposium, "Bridging the Gap," Sept. 17 from 6-8:30 p.m. at the Dr. A.J.Ferlazzo Building at 15941 Donald Curtis Drive.
Organizers say the free event is aimed at fathers who've been separated from their sons through divorce, military deployment or incarceration.
Bobby Gailes, producer of the "Steve Harvey Morning Show" and host of "Taking to the Streets" on WHUR will moderate the symposium that will include panel discussions.

Leroy Martin, the author of the book "Father and Son Influence: And Other Influences" will be the keynote speaker.
