FBI Now Involved With Missing Girl Case in Dumfries

Authorities believe she may be traveling with Meiti Metsla of Estonia. Mattei Makayla, 15, hasn't been seen since last Friday.

DUMFRIES, VA — The FBI has become involved in a search for a missing 15-year-old girl not seen since last Friday, and authorities believe she may be traveling with Meiti Metsla of Estonia, according to the federal agency, Prince William County Police and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Mattei Makayla is described as black, 5-4, 180 pounds with black hair and brown eyes, and was last seen wearing dark leggings, a pink zip-up Georgia State University hooded sweatshirt and a black GSU backpack.

She hasn't been seen since voluntarily leaving her home in the 2800 block of Banks Court.
