Finally! New Store Planned for Long-Vacant Building at Potomac Mills
Large building has been vacant since 2012.
An outdoor specialty store has announced plans to open at Potomac Mills, with work already underway at the former Incredible Universe property.
Gander Mountain will be opening this fall at 14041 Worth Avenue. Most recently, the large building was used by General Dynamics until Sept. 2012, according to Potomac Local.
Gander Mountain is expected to create up to 70 jobs and is already accepting applications online.
“We appreciate the warm welcome we have received from the people in Woodbridge and look forward to our grand opening in the fall,” said Eric Jacobsen, Gander Mountain’s Executive Vice President and Director of Real Estate.

The store is expected to feature a large selection of new and used firearms and gear and accessories for hunting, fishing, camping, boating and archery. The store will also carry outdoor and casual apparel and footwear.
