Fire Damages Woodbridge Apartment: Media Report

One family was displaced, and the Red Cross is assisting the victims.

A fire early Wednesday damaged at least one unit and displaced a family at a Woodbridge apartment complex, a Washington TV station reported.

Firefighters responded at about 2:30 a.m. to the blaze in the 1200 block of Potomac Vista Drive, WJLA-TV Channel 7 reported. There were no injuries, said fire officials.

A family of six adults and three children lived in the fire-damaged apartment, and at least two had to be rescued by firefighters due to the smoke, Channel 7 reported.

The Red Cross is assisting residents affected by the fire.
