Flood Concerns: School Buildings to Close Friday Night

Due to flooding concerns, Prince William County Schools will close all buildings at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 2, and cancel all evening activities.

“These safety measures will avoid after-dark travel during predictions of continuous rain and possible flooding,” according to a statement.

Weather conditions will be reassessed throughout the weekend.

Check pwcs.edu or school websites before departing for scheduled weekend activities.

Activities will proceed as scheduled unless otherwise stated.
