Food Truck Festival Volunteers Needed (Saturday and Sunday)
Help us build a better food truck community, get involved, and have a great time doing it! Volunteer at this 2-day event! Free tshirt/meal!
Help us build a better food truck community, get involved, and have a great time doing it! In addition to meeting fun, new people, your hard work will help to contribute to our partnered charities, No Kid Hungry and Gar-Field Senior High School.
All volunteers will receive a free volunteer t-shirt and a complimentary meal. All volunteers have to attend a Mandatory Volunteer Training Session at 7pm on 5/26/16 at Gar-Field High School.
Date: Saturday, May 28, 2016 and Sunday, May 29, 2016

Interested? We have four volunteer shifts available on BOTH Saturday and Sunday– please indicate the shift(s) and day(s) that you would like to work:
Festival Set-Up – 7am-12pm
Early Shift – 11:30am-4:30pm
Late Shift – 4pm-9pm
Post Festival Tear Down – 5pm-10pm
Volunteer Descriptions: (You may or may not be placed in your desired position)
- Vendor Volunteer tasks may include: Parking Lot attending, Access point guard, Human signpost for the festival goers, Customer information, Assisting with beverage sales and distribution; Volunteers may need to be able to lift at least 45 lbs and able to be on their feet while on duty.
- Security Volunteer tasks may include: Provide conflict resolution on-site and/or direct to appropriate authorities, Maintain safety and security throughout event site including for all artists/speakers as needed, around stage and backstage areas/merchandising areas/vendor areas; Volunteers may need to be able to lift at least 45 lbs and able to be on their feet while on duty as well as maintain their composure during difficult situations.
- Stage Volunteer tasks may include: help off load/set up/breakdown stage and equipment, escort entertainers, round up all artists/speakers & keep them in order of appearance on stage, replenish water and towels, load and unload artist/speaker equipment, as needed; Volunteers may need to be able to lift at least 50 lbs and able to be on their feet while on duty.
- Parking Volunteer tasks may include: transport people and/or supplies on the event grounds, assist with traffic control in parking areas, mark and direct VIP parking area, mark and direct event handicap parking; Volunteers need to be vigilant, confident, flexible and have a positive attitude and able to be on their feet while on duty.
- Floater – Volunteers fill-in wherever there is need. Must be willing to work any position.
