Fourth Grade Teacher Sentenced After Explicit Chats with Teen

Woodbridge girl, 15, was one of at least 18 girls the subject contacted in a two-year period, according to U.S. Attorney's Office.

A 4th grade teacher from Charlottesville was sentenced to 10 years in prison today for enticing and coercing a 15-year-old Woodbridge girl into sexually explicit online chats, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

Corey Schock, 44, pleaded guilty in June to online coercion and enticement of a minor.

According to court documents, Schock engaged in sexually explicit online chats with the girl, sending sexually explicit pictures of himself, and requesting explicit pictures of the teen. The girl sent Schock pictures and videos of herself engaging in sexually explicit behavior.

Schock reportedly discussed meeting the girl for sexual activity and they had specifically referred to their respective ages during online chats.

Schock allegedly had similar chats with at least 18 underage girls during a two-year period.

A 10-year prison sentence was the minimum allowed under law, according to C-Ville.com. Upon release, Schock will be under supervised release for an additional 10 years.
