Fugitive's Attempt To Lose Cops Flops In Woodbridge: Police
A man wanted for armed robbery as well as two burglaries was arrested after trying to elude cops by running into a market in Woodbridge.

WOODBRIDGE, VA—A man wanted for armed robbery as well as two burglaries was arrested Tuesday after trying to elude authorities by running into J & J International Market at 16593 River Ridge Road, according to Prince William County Police.
Antuan Jamal Pendergraph, 30, of no fixed address, was charged with one count of robbery, two counts of burglary, one count of grand larceny and two counts of destruction of property.
He was spotted by a detective Tuesday afternoon shortly before 2:30 walking along the side of the road in the area of Jefferson Davis Highway and River Ridge Boulevard. Other officers arrived and Pendergraph fled on foot. More police arrived and saturated the area.

They determined he had run into J & J International Market, and they evacuated the business. Pendergraph finally was found trying to exit the store through a rear door.
He'd been wanted for breaking into a Subway and a Sprint store early Monday at 14214 Smoketown Road in Woodbridge, where he took cell phones and cash. He also was wanted for robbing a Shell station at knife-point July 1 at 3186 River Heritage Boulevard in Dumfries, where he fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.
