Future of Local Kmart, Sears Stores Uncertain

Update: Sears announced a list of stores closing, Woodbridge's will not close.  

The future of local Kmart and Sears stores is uncertain.

After disappointing holiday sales, Sears Holdings Corporation (NASDAQ: SHLD) reported it would close up to 120 stores nationwide.  The Illinois-based retailer has not yet determined which stores it will close, according to an Associated Press report in the Washington Post. 

Sears Holdings Corporation has more than 4,000 retail stores in the United States and Canada. The company reports being the leading home appliance retailer.
