Gemmis Technologies at work in your community

Gemmis Technologies is a leading technology company for small to medium sized businesses that cares about the success of your company.

As soon as you walk in the door at Gemmis Technologies you’re greeted by two squishy, welcoming blue arm chairs. Around the corner a large open room hosts a circle of technicians all busy with phone calls. They take turns flitting between the office and client’s businesses, heading to sites to fix problems, install Voice over IP services or manage network infrastructure. Work is punctured by witty commentary and playful banter.

Co-Founder and COO Jeff Ferrio keeps the atmosphere light as he tackles client’s problems. The family style atmosphere is what sets Gemmis apart from other companies. “We treat one another the same way we treat the clients: like family,” Ferrio says.

Gemmis is the leading professional technology company in Northern Virginia, Washington DC, and Maryland area. They work to maximize efficiency and provide support for small and medium sized businesses. Gemmis understands the needs and demands of small businesses because it is one itself.

“When we take on clients we treat them like family,” He says. “We want to maximize their business potential and that means making sure they have a functioning office with the best possible operating systems.”

This is not the only way Ferrio is actively involved in bettering the community. He and his wife Missy Tuttle are the co-founders of Gemmis Technologies. Combined they have over 40 years of management experience. Tuttle has also founded the safety and emergency response business, Patriot Training, where she utilizes countless years of experience in the field of emergency response to train local businesses in CPR, First Aide, and more. Ferrio and Tuttle play active rolls in their commitment to the community and work tirelessly to improve everything they touch.

Gemmis Technologies is currently working on a commitment between Gemmis and Set the Captives Free Church. Using repaired discarded computers and the always helpful Gemmis technicians, they hope to train local community members on Microsoft Office and other programs that will help them succeed in a technology driven world.
