Groundbreaking Ceremony for New Fire Station

Construction on the new fire station is expected to start this month and be completed in the summer of 2017.

The Prince William County Department of Fire and Rescue will hold a groundbreaking ceremony on Friday, April 15th at 1:00 p.m. for the new Station 26 that is to be erected at 5022 Davis Ford Road in Woodbridge.

This 17,960 square-foot station will house 24-hour staffing for an Engine, Advanced Life Support Ambulance, and a Brush Truck.

Prince William County Fire and Rescue Chief Kevin McGee states, “The station’s design and strategic location will decrease response times and, along with our existing stations, increase the level of services that we provide the citizens of Prince William County.”

Construction is expected to start this month and be completed in the summer of 2017.
