WOODBRIDGE, VA—Authorities are looking for a Maryland man who in an apparent fit of road rage threatened another driver with a gun Jan. 7 at the intersection of Benita Fitzgerald Drive and Brickwood Drive, according to Prince William County Police. Following an investigation, police got a warrant Tuesday for Howard Samual Anderson, 41, of the 900 block of Central Hills Lane in Hyattesville. He's described as black, 6-1, 220 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
Around 1:15 p.m., the victim, 39, said he was driving on Brickwood Drive when he saw a silver Dodge Charger speeding and driving recklessly. He said the Charger blew through several stop signs before stopping in the middle of the road at the intersection of Brickwood Drive and Brazil Court.
The victim said he drove his vehicle around the Charger, made eye contact with Anderson, and continued driving. But when stopped at the intersection of Fitzgerald and Brickwood, the Charger pulled alongside him. That's when he said Anderson lowered his window and pointed a handgun at him before driving away. The victim followed him before calling police after Anderson got on northbound Interstate 95.
