Gunfight Leaves Man Seriously Injured in Woodbridge: Police
A man was seriously injured during a gunfight Wednesday in Woodbridge, according to Prince William County Police, who say it wasn't random.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — A man was seriously injured Wednesday morning during an exchange of gunfire in the 16500 block of Royal Court in Woodbridge, according to Prince William County Police. The victim, 33, of Woodbridge, was taken to an area hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.
Shortly after 10:30 a.m., police responded to the scene for a report of shots fired. That's where they found a man with a gunshot wound to his lower body. Police did their best to help him while waiting for rescue units to arrive.

An investigation found that the the two men, apparently unknown to each other, became involved in an altercation that obviously turned violent. After the shooting, the suspect fled. Police say the incident does not appear to be random.
