Guns, Bats Used in Woodbridge Robberies: Police

Three masked men with guns and bats robbed three people in separate incidents Tuesday and Wednesday, say Prince William County Police.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — Three masked men brandishing guns and bats robbed three different people in three separate incidents in Woodbridge and Dumfries late Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning, according to Prince William County Police. The robbers are described as being of an unknown age or race, between 5-8 and 6-0, and wearing all dark clothing.

The incidents occurred 11:29 p.m. Tuesday in the 15300 block of Edgehill Drive in Dumfries, 11:42 p.m. the 1300 block of Quate Lane in Woodbridge and 12:38 a.m. in the area of Pilgrims Inn Drive and Havering Way in Woodbridge. The victims: a 73-year-old Dumfries man, a 41-year-old Woodbridge man and a 60-year-old Woodbridge man.

They all recounted to police basically the same stories. Namely, that the robbers came at them with guns and bats while demanding either money or property. After they got what they wanted, they immediately fled.
