Gunshots Hit Area Homes — Again — in Woodbridge: Police

The three incidents happened Saturday at various times, and Prince William County Police say at least 20 incidents have happened in 2016.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — Three area homes were struck by gunfire Saturday with no injuries reported, according to Prince William County Police.

But the incidents nonetheless mirror a troubling trend, police say, in which at least 20 homes have suffered similar fates this year in the county.

Police say the first incident happened shortly before 2 a.m. in the area of Milroy Drive and Brockenbrough Drive in Dumfries. Two unoccupied vehicles and a residence was hit.
