Home Alone: 2-Year-Old Found Wandering Outside In Woodbridge

A 2-year-old boy was found wandering around outside alone Saturday in Woodbridge, and a family member was later arrested: PWC Police.

WOODBRIDGE, VA โ€” A 2-year-old boy was found wandering around outside alone Saturday morning in the 3100 block of Chesapeake Drive, and a family member ultimately was arrested, according to Prince William County Police. Michael Anthony Martinez, 20, of the 3100 block of Chesapeake Drive, was charged with one count of felony child neglect. He's being held without bond.

Shortly before 10 a.m., while on an unrelated call, police spotted the boy outside without adult supervision. They were unable to find out from him where he lived and other pertinent information. After an investigation, they found that child had been left alone inside his residence without supervision. Police checked the child's home and found it in disarray. The child was released to the custody of another family member.
