Joined in Christ: A Multicultural Celebration

April 16 - Joined in Christ: A Multicultural Celebration of Faith. St. Paul United Methodist Church, located at 1400 G Street in Woodbridge, will host a multicultural Christian celebration to be held on April 16, 2016 from 11am-3pm on the church grounds. There will be food, music, face painting, a bounce house, and other activities, as well as a sharing of the traditions and symbols of multiple Methodist cultures. Ghana Wesley UMC, Woodlawn Faith UMC, and Wesley UMC will also participate in this event. There will be traditional foods representative of the historic cultures of the participating institutions available for purchase. The Ghana Wesley choir, the Woodlawn men's chorale, a Latino music group, and St. Paul's own Raise the Praise band will perform throughout the day. Feel free to get your face painted, have a bite to eat, and sing along with the choirs! The event will conclude with a combined worship service and holy communion. All are welcome.
