WOODBRIDGE, VA — A male juvenile fired multiple gunshots at a car in Woodbridge Sunday afternoon after getting into an argument with the car's occupants, the Prince William County Police Department said Monday. No injuries were reported in the incident.

At about 4:15 p.m. Sunday, police officers went to the area of Leaf Lawn Ln. and Windy Leaf Ct. in Woodbridge to investigate a shots fired call. The police investigation revealed that an unknown male juvenile was engaged in a verbal altercation with the occupants of a gray Chevrolet Impala.

The altercation escalated when the juvenile brandished a firearm and fired multiple rounds toward the Impala, the police said. The juvenile fled the area on foot in an unknown direction while the vehicle fled the area toward Prince William Parkway. Officers and a police K-9 searched the area for the juvenile suspect.

Police officers collected shell casings and a bicycle from in front of a residence.
