Labor Day 2017: What's Open, What's Closed In Prince William County

PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, VA — If you happen to work at, say, the beach, Labor Day represents one of the busier weekends of the summer, if not the entire year. It's one final chance for tourists to fill up the coffers, from the Outer Banks in North Carolina to Ocean City in Maryland. But for city and county governments, Labor Day is a chance to hit the pause button.

• County offices will be closed.
• Courts will be closed.
• The Landfill and Libraries and each maintain a different closing schedule for holidays. Contact these offices directly for their schedules.
• Check with your local provider about trash collection.
• Manassas National Battlefield Park and the Henry Hill Visitors Center, 12521 Lee Highway, will be open.
