On The Road

Around 6:38 a.m., a right lane of I-66 eastbound was blocked by a disabled vehicle after VA-123.

At 6:51 a.m., a crash affected both directions of East Loudoun Street at VA-7. Drivers should follow police direction.

Around 6:52 a.m., storm debris affected both directions of traffic on Massachusetts Avenue between Little Falls Parkway and Falmouth Road. Drivers should follow police direction.

At 6:55 a.m., a crash on VA-7 eastbound blocked the right lane after Colvin Run Road/Carpers Farm Way.

At 7:02 a.m., there was a crash on eastbound US-50 at Annandale Road. Drivers should use caution.

At 7:19 a.m., a crash was reported on southbound DC-295 near Pennsylvania Avenue SE. Drivers should use caution.

At 7:21 a.m., a crash on northbound I-95 after Prince William Parkway blocked the left lane.

At 7:23 a.m., the center lane of northbound I-95 near US-17 was blocked by a truck.

At 7:38 a.m., the left side of I-66 westbound was blocked by a crash after I-495.

At 7:41 a.m., there was a crash involving a bus on East Capitol Street after 55th Street. A single lane is getting by.

On The Rails

On the Orange Line, the Minnesota Ave, Deanwood, Cheverly, Landover and New Carrollton remain closed through Labor Day due to a summer platform improvement project. Local and express shuttles are available at Stadium-Armory.

Weather

The temperature on Tuesday is expected to reach 90 degrees with a heat index around 96 for most of Northern Virginia. It will be partly sunny and humid throughout the day. There will be a steady breeze out of the west and northwest.
