Lawrence and Glea Kreider Establish The Kreider Professional Development Endowment Fund at Westminster at Lake Ridge
A Substantial Gift will Provide Scholarships for the Continuing Education of Westminster at Lake Ridge Employees

Lake Ridge, Va. – Larry and Glea Kreider, longtime residents of Westminster at Lake Ridge, a not-for-profit senior living community, have established The Kreider Professional Development Endowment Fund to offer continuing education scholarships to its full- and part-time employees. The Fund was initiated by a sizeable gift from the Kreiders, whose history with the Westminster at Lake Ridge community spans back more than four decades.
Larry, an experienced economist with a successful background in banking, helped in planning and financing Westminster at Lake Ridge, an Ingleside community, when the community was first conceived. The couple moved in to the community in 1993 and has since donated their time and talents to Westminster at Lake Ridge in several capacities, including Larry’s service on the Westminster Ingleside’s Foundation Board, Board of Directors and Investment Committee.
“At Westminster at Lake Ridge, we believe that excellence in care starts with a knowledgeable and compassionate staff,” said Libby Bush, executive director of Westminster at Lake Ridge. “We are thankful to Glea and Larry for supporting this philosophy, and for enabling us to do even more to develop our most outstanding and dedicated staff. The benefits of the Kreider Professional Development Endowment Fund are multifaceted, and will benefit the residents, staff and community for years to come.”

“The endowment fund program was thoughtfully structured both to maintain its relevancy over time and to serve as the model for similar emerging programs within the Ingleside communities,” said Robert Lancelotta, executive director of Westminster Ingleside Foundation.
The program will serve as a gift alternative for Westminster at Lake Ridge donors, and will continue to be fostered by the Kreiders. For more information about Westminster at Lake Ridge, visit www.wlrva.org . To learn more about the Westminster Ingleside Foundation, visit www.givetowif.org.
