Man Arrested After Pulling Gun Out During Argument: Police

A 24-year-old Woodbridge man turned himself in after allegedly pulling a gun on another man during an argument at a local apartment complex.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — A Woodbridge man was arrested earlier this weekend in connection with an incident at an apartment complex where he allegedly pulled a gun on another man during an argument. Carl Tajon Moore, 24, turned himself in to Prince William County police and is now facing charges of brandishing a weapon.

According to police, officers responded to the Potomac Ridge Apartments in the 2800 block of Woodmark Drive in Woodbridge at 3:30 a.m. Oct. 20. When officers arrived, they learned Moore was arguing with an unidentified 31-year-old man when he went into his nearby residence and returned with a long gun, which he pointed at the victim, police said.

According to the police report, the victim also took out his gun and pointed it at Moore. Eventually, both went their separate ways without shots fired, police said. No injuries were reported.

After the confrontation, Moore attempted to hide his weapon under a vehicle in the parking
lot, which was later located by officers, police said. Following the investigation, officers obtained arrest warrants for Moore. After turning himself in, Moore was released on a $2,500 secured bond.
