Man Arrested For Gang-Related Stabbing In Woodbridge: Police

A man was arrested for a gang-related stabbing Nov. 17 outside a 7-Eleven in Woodbridge, according to Prince William County Police.

WOODBRIDGE, VA—A man was arrested Thursday in Fairfax County for a gang-related stabbing Nov. 17 outside a 7-Eleven at 13990 Jefferson Davis Highway, according to Prince William County Police. Deybi Preczadis Meza Soto, 22, of no fixed address, was charged with aggravated malicious wounding and gang participation. A 17-year-male was arrested in January and faces the same charges.

Shortly before 8:30 p.m., police responded to a call from the victim, 25, who said the incident had occurred about a half hour earlier. He told police that while inside the store, he was approached by two unknown men who took a liking to his shoes — so much so, in fact, they ordered him to take them off and hand them over.

The victim refused and completed his purchase while the suspects left the store. But while he was leaving, one of the suspects ran past him, stabbed him the lower body with an unknown "edged object," and then tried to do so again. They then fled in a black car, possibly a Honda or Toyota. The victim was taken to a local hospital with injuries that weren't life-threatening.
