Man Arrested For Knocking Out Family Member in Woodbridge: Police

He punched her in the face and then knocked her unconscious with a blow to the head last month, according to Prince William County Police.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — A man was arrested last week for knocking out and seriously injuring a female family member Feb. 25 in the 14700 block of Arizona Avenue, according to Prince William County Police.

Jorge de la Fuente, 25, of the aforementioned address, was charged with malicious wounding and is being held without bond.

Around 1 p.m., police responded to a local hospital and the victim, 24, said she and de la Fuente got into an argument earlier in the day that turned violent when he punched her in the face and then knocked her unconscious with a blow to the head.

The victim had serious injuries that weren't life threatening.
