Man Arrested For Repeated Rapes Of Child In Woodbridge: Police
A man who allegedly raped and sodomized a child over several years at a Woodbridge home has been arrested: Prince William County Police.
WOODBRIDGE, VA — A man who allegedly raped and sodomized a child over several years at a Woodbridge residence when the family member was 7-10 years old was arrested Wednesday, according to Prince William County Police. Derrick Lloyd King, 36, of Bayside Drive in Fredericksburg, was charged with two counts of rape and one count of forcible sodomy. He's being held without bond.
Detectives began investigating the case in December 2015 when the victim, now 15, told police she had been sexually assaulted by a family member on more than one occasion between September 2009 and June 2012. Following the three-year investigation, police got multiple warrants for King, who was found and arrested in Stafford County.
