Man Arrested Tuesday in Fatal Potomac Mills Stabbing: Police

Jamel Carlos Kingsbury, 35, was arrested in Washington by Metropolitan Police. Larry Donnell Drumgole, 44, of Rappahannock, was a guard.

WASHINGTON — A man wanted for a fatal stabbing Saturday outside the Burlington Coat Factory at Potomac Mills was arrested Tuesday, according to Metropolitan Police.

Jamel Carlos Kingsbury, 35, of no fixed address, was charged with murder pending extradition to Virginia.

The victim was identified as Larry Donnell Drumgole, 44, of Rappahannock.

Shortly after 2:30 p.m., police arrived at the scene and found that Kingsbury was confronted by two loss prevention employees on suspicion of shoplifting. A struggle ensued and one of the employees was stabbed.

He was taken to a nearby hospital where he died from his injuries.
