Man Assaults, Robs Acquaintance in Woodbridge: Police

Victim was sitting in his vehicle when the incident occurred Tuesday, according to Prince William County Police. The suspect was arrested.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — A man was arrested Wednesday for a Tuesday night incident in which he approached an acquaintance sitting in a vehicle in the 13300 block of Occoquan Road, punched him in the head and stole his cell phone and car keys before fleeing on foot, according to Prince William County Police.

Nicholas Leigh Williams, 33, of the 13100 block of Putnam Circle, was charged with robbery and is being held without bond.

Shortly after 8 p.m., the 23-year-old victim described the details to police, who obtained a warrant for Williams.

He was found at the residence the next day and arrested without incident.
