Man Attacked With Bleach Over Alleged Bike Theft, Woman Arrested
Prince William County police have arrested a woman after an early morning attack with a caustic substance in Woodbridge.
WOODBRIDGE, VA – A woman has been arrested after a man was attacked with bleach early Monday morning, Prince William County police say.
According to the Prince William County Police Department, officers responded to reports of an assault at the intersection of Richmond Highway and Featherstone Road in Woodbridge at 3:30 a.m. They say a 50-year-old man was approached by a woman who accused him of stealing her bicycle and then threw a cup of bleach on him. The man said he didn't know the woman.
The man sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene by medics, police say. The woman left the area but was quickly located and detained. Officers say she was found to be carrying an “illicit substance” when she was searched.

The accused is identified as Talia Marie Nesemeier, 53, of no fixed address. She is charged with malicious wounding by caustic substance and possession of a controlled substance. She is in police custody, with a hearing scheduled for August 7.
