Man Attacks Two Acquaintances In Woodbridge: Police

A man was arrested early Tuesday for assaulting two male acquaintances, one of whom was injured by a knife, in Woodbridge: PWC Police.

WOODBIRDGE, VA — A man was arrested early Tuesday for assaulting two male acquaintances, one of whom was injured by a knife, in the 13800 block of Jefferson Davis Highway, according to Prince William County Police. Andre Jermaine Wortham, 39, of the 1100 block of Pasture Lane In Fayetteville, N.C., was charged with two counts of malicious wounding. He's being held without bond.

Shortly after 12:30 a.m., police responded to the scene for a reported fight. One victim, 29, of Fayetteville, said he and Wortham got into an argument that escalated into violence. The other victim, 59, of Fayeteville, attempted to separate the two men before he was hit and cut in the arm by a swinging knife.

Both victims were taken to a local hospital with injuries that weren't life threatening.
