Man Attacks Woman With Knife in Woodbridge: Police

He then tried to to stop residents from calling the cops, according to Prince William County Police, but ultimately failed and was jailed.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — A man assaulted a female acquaintance with a knife and then took a cell phone when another resident attempted to call authorities early Thursday morning in the 3200 block of Wyndale Court, according to Prince William County Police.

Michael Lois Grayton, 36, of the 900 block of Montgomery Street in Alexandria, was charged with malicious wounding, preventing the summoning of police and possession of marijuana.

He's being held without bond.

Shortly after 3:30 a.m., police responded to the scene where the 36-year-old victim said the and Grayton were involved in an argument that became violent, during which he cut her on the arms. He then tried to prevent the residents from calling police.

The finally did, and he was taken to jail.
