Man Beaten With Metal Pipe At Dumfries Motel: Police
A man burst into a Motel 6 room and began attacking two men—one of whom was bashed in the head with a metal pipe—in Dumfries: PWC Police.

DUMFRIES, VA—A Triangle man burst into a Motel 6 room and began attacking two men—one of whom was bashed in the head with a metal pipe—early Thursday at 17133 Dumfries Road, according to Prince William County Police.
Joe Bester, 37, of the 4100 block of Southway Lane, was arrested afterward and charged with malicious wounding and assault and battery. The 27-year-old man hit with the pipe was taken to a nearby hospital with serious injuries not considered life threatening. A 22-year-old suffered minor injuries.
Shortly before 1 a.m., police went to the motel for a reported assault. They found that an unknown man, Bester, knocked on the door of a room. When it was opened, he burst inside and began assaulting two occupants. He fled on foot after hitting one of the men with the pipe, causing a large cut.
