Man Beaten, Pepper-Sprayed in Woodbridge: Police

Victim, of Springfield, was attacked by two people who conspired to assault him, according to Prince William County Police.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — Two people were arrested last Tuesday afternoon conspiring to assault a man who was chased down by the suspects, beaten and pepper-sprayed in the 13300 block of Minnieville Road, according to Prince William County Police.

Norma Jean Walker, 37, of the 7000 block of Lakota Drive, #404, in Woodbridge, was charged with malicious wounding and assault with a caustic substance.

Juan Rodriguez Pryor, 37, of same address as Walker, was charged with malicious wounding.

Shortly before 2:30 p.m., the victim, 38, of Springfield, told police and Walker got into a heated argument. She contacted Pryor and requested he assault the victim, police say.

When he showed up, the victim tried to flee but the suspects chased to a nearby pocket lot, knocked him down, pepper-sprayed him and beat him.

He was taken to an area hospital, and his injuries weren't life threatening.

The suspects are being held without bond.
