Man Beaten, Robbed and Hit by Vehicle in Woodbridge: Police

One man has been arrested for the Wednesday morning incident, according to Prince William County Police. The victim suffered minor injuries.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — A passenger in a vehicle with three acquaintances Wednesday morning was beaten, robbed and then hit by the vehicle as it drove away, according to Prince William County Police, but one suspect was found and arrested.

Paul Michael Wyrick, 28, of the 9700 block of Henderson Place, was charged with robbery and malicious wounding and is being held without bond.

Shortly before 10 a.m., officers responded to the scene and the 29-year-old male victim said he was in the vehicle when one of the occupants began assaulting him and then took an undisclosed amount of money.

While the victim was trying to leave the vehicle, he fell and was hit in the leg by the vehicle as it sped off.

The victim was taken to an area hospital with minor injuries.
