Man Bites Woman During Woodbridge Assault: Police

A man is being held without bond after strangling and biting a female acquaintance early Monday morning in Woodbridge: PWC Police.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — A man is being held without bond after strangling and biting a female acquaintance early Monday morning in the 12600 block of Wimbley Lane, according to Prince William County Police. Anthony Lee Winns, Jr., 35, of the aforementioned address, was charged with one count of strangulation and two counts of destruction of property.

Around 3 a.m., police responded to the scene to investigate a domestic incident. The victim, 37, said she and Winns were involved in an argument that obviously turned violent. She said Winns demanded her cell phone and then tried to destroy it. He then allegedly strangled her, put a knee on her chest and bit her on the leg.
