Man Charged In Head-On Crash That Killed Woodbridge Man

A man is being held without bond in connection to a head-on crash that killed a Woodbridge man late last month in Manassas: PWC Police.

MANASSAS, VA — A man is being held without bond in connection to a head-on crash that killed a Woodbridge man late last month in the 9300 block of Brentsville Road, according to Prince William County Police. Robert Lee Easton III, 35, of the 12600 block of Izaak Walton Drive in Bristow, is charged with involuntary manslaughter in the death of Terry Lee Cunningham, 23.

On Sept. 29 around 2:15 p.m., police responded to the scene to investigate a two-vehicle crash. Cunningham was headed east on Brentsville Road in a 2005 Ford Ranger when Easton, the the driver of a 1997 Ford F350, crossed the double yellow line and slammed into the oncoming vehicle. Easton was flown to an area hospital with serious injuries. At the time, police said it's unknown if speed or drug use were factors in the crash but that charges were pending.
