Man Dies From Stabbing In Woodbridge Parking Lot: Police
A 28-year-old man died at the hospital Friday morning after getting stabbed outside Babylon Café in Woodbridge, police said.
WOODBRIDGE, VA — A 28-year-old man died at the hospital Friday morning after getting stabbed outside Babylon Café on Golansky Boulevard in Woodbridge, according to the Prince William County Police Department.
Police officers went to the Babylon Café around 2:30 a.m. Friday to investigate the stabbing. When officers arrived, they found the man suffering from stab wounds. Officers used trauma kits to render first aid to the man and performed CPR until rescue personnel arrived at the scene. The man, Charlie Davis III of Dumfries, was transported to an area hospital where he later died as a result of his injuries.
The Prince William County police said their preliminary investigation into the incident revealed that after the closing of Babylon Café, a large fight broke out in the parking lot of the business. During the fight, the stabbing occurred before the people dispersed. No arrests have been made at this time.

Detectives with the Prince William County Police Department's Violent Crimes Bureau are investigating the incident to determine what led up to the stabbing and are seeking to speak with anyone who was present during the altercation who can provide more details as to what occurred.
The Prince William County Police Department is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person involved in the death of Davis. Detectives are continuing to seek assistance from any witnesses to the killing.
