Man Jumped, Beaten And Stabbed In Dumfries: Police

A man was jumped, beaten and stabbed by three strangers for apparently no reason early Wednesday in Dumfries: Prince William County Police.

DUMFRIES, VA—A man was jumped, beaten and stabbed by three strangers for apparently no reason early Wednesday in the 3000 block of Chesapeake Drive, according to Prince William County Police. He wound up with minor injuries.

All three suspects were described as black males between 25 and 30. The first was said to be 5-10 with a medium build and wearing a True Religion hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans. The other two were wearing all-black clothing.

Shortly after 2 a.m., the victim, 26, of Stafford, told police he was in the aforementioned area when an unknown man approached him and hit him in the face, causing him to fall to the ground. Two other men then appeared and they began to assault him. Nothing was stolen, and they ultimately fled on foot. Anyone with information is urged to call police at 703-792-6500.
