Man Purposefully Drives Into Pedestrian in Triangle: Police

A man was hit from behind by a vehicle, after which the driver chased him and assaulted him, according to Prince William County Police.

TRIANGLE, VA — A man rammed his vehicle into a pedestrian acquaintance early last Friday morning, got out of the vehicle, chased the victim and assaulted him near the 18700 block of Fuller Heights Road, according to Prince William County.

Christian Leonel Granados, 22, of the 16800 block of Francis West Lane in Dumfries, was arrested Saturday and charged with felony hit and run, malicious wounding and assault and battery.

He's being held without bond.

Shortly after 3:15 a.m., the victim, 30, of Triangle told police about the incident. He was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.
