Man Puts Ax To Woman’s Throat, She Tries To Run Him Over: Police
What started as a domestic dispute call ended in charges for a Woodbridge man and woman, according to Prince William County Police.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — A 25-year-old Woodbridge woman is accused of trying to hit a man with her car after he allegedly pushed her onto a couch and held an ax to her throat, according to Prince William County Police. Both individuals — identified as Marie Lahai Kamara and Robert Macaarron Fields, 27, also of Woodbridge — are now facing charges following the incident.
According to police, officers responded on the afternoon of Sept. 17 to the 16600 block of Flotilla Way in Woodbridge for a domestic call. Police said prior to their arrival, Fields allegedly pushed the Kamara, whom he knew, on to the couch while holding an ax to her throat.
Kamara was able to get away, police said, and got into her vehicle to leave. Meanwhile, Fields continued his attempts to hit Kamara, striking her vehicle instead. Police said he then dropped the ax and moved away from Kamara’s vehicle. Kamara, however, then drove her car at Fields and attempted to hit him.
