Man Rams Vehicle With Children Inside in Woodbridge: Police

He follows acquaintance after a fight and then endangers her two kids, ages 2 and 6, say Prince William County Police.

WOODBIRDGE, VA — A man is wanted by authorities after getting into a fight with his female acquaintance Sunday night in the 13400 block of Jefferson Davis Highway and later ramming his vehicle into victim's vehicle with two young children inside, according to Prince William County Police.

Stephen Decarlos Ford, 44, of the 4300 block of Kenwood Drive, is wanted for three counts of malicious wounding, two counts of child endangerment, one count of hit and run, one count of petit larceny and one count of driving on a suspended license.

He's described as a black male, 155 pounds with brown eyes and short black hair.

Shortly after 10 p.m., police responded to a call from the victim, who told them this:

She got into a fight with Ford and then left with her two kids, a 6-year-old girl and a boy, 2. Ford, police say, followed her vehicle and when it stopped at her work place, rammed into it twice.

The woman and her kids escaped, ran to a nearby business and called the cops.

Ford fled, but not before stealing the victim's phone and wallet from her vehicle.
