Man Robs Phone Store In Dumfries: Police
A man robbed the Boost Mobile store in Dumfries Dec. 17, taking an undisclosed amount of money.
DUMFRIES, VA — A man robbed the Boost Mobile store in Dumfries Tuesday evening, taking an undisclosed amount of money, the Prince William County Police Department said Dec. 18. A store employee reported to police that an unknown man entered the store and approached the employee. During the encounter, the suspect brandished a firearm and demanded money but no injuries were reported.
Prince William police responded to the scene of the reported robbery — 18069 Triangle Shopping Plaza — at 6:39 p.m. on Dec. 17. The suspect had fled on foot. A police K-9 unit searched for the suspect who was not located.
The suspect is described as a black male, about five-feet seven-inches tall, with a thin build. The suspect was last seen wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, and black and white shoes.
