Man Shot To Death In Woodbridge: Police

WOODBRIDGE, VA—A man was shot to death by an acquaintance early Sunday in the 15300 block of Bronco Way, according to Prince William County Police. Derrick Antwonne Alston, 23, of Washington, D.C., was taken to a nearby hospital and pronounced dead.

Abenezer Daniel Amare, 24, of the 18800 block of Crossroads Court in Triangle, was charged with second degree murder.

Shortly before 2 a.m., police responded to the scene for a reported shooting. They found that the two men had been in an argument that escalated and spilled outside the home. That's when police say Amare pulled out a gun and shot Alston in the upper body.
