Man Shot Thursday In Woodbridge: Police
A man was shot in wee hours of Thursday morning in the 3500 block of Powell's Crossing Court, according to Prince William County Police.
WOODBRIDGE, VA — A man was shot in wee hours of Thursday morning in the 3500 block of Powell's Crossing Court, according to Prince William County Police. He was wounded in the upper body and taken to an area hospital with serious injuries. He's expected to survive.
Around 2:30 a.m., police responded to the scene to investigate a shooting. That's where they found the victim, 35, of Woodbridge. An investigation found the incident happened outside a residence during a drug transaction. Police say the victim was talking to multiple occupants of a vehicle when he was shot by someone inside. The suspects fled the scene. Police say the incident is not random.
