Man Slashed During Robbery Attempt in Woodbridge: Police
Two people approached a stranger late Sunday night and demanded property. He refused and was slashed, say Prince William County Police.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — A man was slashed with a knife during an attempted robbery late Sunday night in the area of Smoketown Road and Burr Lane in Woodbridge, according to Prince William County Police.
The two suspects are described as a black male, 6-0 with a thin build, dreadlocks and wearing dark clothing, and a black female of unknown age with a thin build, shoulder-length hair and wearing dark clothing.

Shortly before midnight, police responded to the scene. The victim, 27, said he was approached by an unknown man and an unknown woman. They "demanded the victim's property." He refused, and the man whipped out a knife and slashed him before the two fled on foot.
Minor injuries were reported.
